Writer’s Block

*the condition of being unable to think of what to write or how to proceed with writing.

So Tonight I decided to write about the first thing that came to my head.   I couldn’t think of anything and then it dawned on me that I could write about that!   Writer’s Block!

I’d like to say it’s not a thing.     But it kind of is a thing.   Maybe that’s because we take stuff too seriously.     When it comes to writing for a blog you should first of all have a theme right?  So write something that adds value.     I mean in my mind giving a solution to writer’s block is valuable to anyone who is reading this blog.  So here is my attempt to talk on the subject.  :)

One thing I plan on doing is making lists of things I want to write about in the future so I have something to choose from on the days that I feel like my brain is blank.

But really I believe in being spontaneous too.  So that is why I think it’s good to just have fun with what you are doing and pull something out of your hat.   Take a walk first or do some pilates if you want.   But I say JUST WRITE.   You might not think it’s great but if it has some value and maybe some humor and most importantly if it’s YOU being real  I’d say it’s a successful writing .

So what is the cure to writer’s block?

In my opinion it’s this:

JUST WRITE

Eventually it will come to you….JUST WRITE  :)

  1. Hi Brianna,
Veanna & Dennis here from WA. Thanks for your up comment on our new site. We love what you have done here, nice, clean style, easy to navigate. Love your “About Mama” page. How you used to laugh at the models in the magazines, and here you are, what you laughed at. Life is so strange and full of paradoxes and surprises. We Love it. You are definitely on your way to the financial and time freedom you have aspired to for so long. No pics of your son? Would love to see him.

Wealthy Affiliate is so awesome. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.

  2. Hi Briana,

Great post! I find that having the list of things to write about opens up the creativity to be spontaneous as I rarely use that list. And when I do look at the list if I have writer’s block I usually instantly begin to write about something that isn’t even on that list, but the list triggered the idea. Keep up the good work!

    1. I can completely relate! Lists are great! But definitely keeping an open and creative mind is what it’s all about! I suppose that doing anything that helps you think first may help someone get past writer’s block! So if the list doesn’t get your creative juices flowing maybe some yoga or a walk or a chocolate chip cookie are in order. Everyone is different right? 😛 Thanks so much for taking the time to write on the post! It’s truly inspiring for me!

  3. Very good post. Writing a list of future posts is a great idea. I get google alerts, right now I have over 2000 google alerts for both my websites. So when I get writers block, I go through that list and get ideas on what to write. Keep up the good work.

  4. Great post,
I also have a lot of writers blocks. You gave me something to think about. I put too much stress on myself to write content. It should be fun. I’m going to go and WRITE.
